Insulation Adhesive / Glue :
Description:
Adhesive, a contact neoprene adhesive, is excellent for joining seams and butt joints of elastomeric pipe and sheet insulation. The high water vapor resistance and good weathering resistance provided by Adhesive can prevent water or moisture from penetrating into the joints, and ensure a strong, firm and rigid insulation system. No additional tape is needed. Adhesive can be used for bonding elastomeric products to a variety of materials (such as other elastomers, metals, plastics, woods). The product is supplied in various sizes, and is customizable upon request.
Applications:
For proper adhesion, the surfaces to which be applied must be thoroughly clean, dry, oil free and unheated. Thorough stir is necessary before using. Adhesive should be applied on both surfaces to be joined. Allow the adhesive to become dry to touch, and then press two surfaces firmly together. The drying period is 3-4 minutes under normal conditions. It is recommended that the Adhesive be applied at temperature above 40℉(4 ℃) and on a unheated surface. The coverage of one can of Adhesive (3.78L/Can) is 19 m2 (200 ft2).
